We made it.
Wowza. 2021 kinda seemed harder than 2020, was it just me? Maybe 2020 and 2021 just feel like one long year of both big changes and little change. It was a hard one for me, I'm not gonna lie, but, I'm still here, still picking, still poking litter stakeholders. For how much longer? Time will tell. If you're new here, welcome. I updated my 'about' page for the year and have pasted it below so we can catch up. Here's to a great (a better) 2022! 🥤🏴☠️
Hey. I'm Paul. Nice to meet you. I'm the Litter Pirate. Happy 2022, we made it!
Yo litter pirates!!! Welcome to the new blog!
Litter Pirate 2020 litter count: 4,000+ gallons of litter picked from ENC counties along the Crystal Coast. Yikes.
New and current Litter Pirate projects:
*New 'X marks the Spot' bags. Check out my mate in Texas running with the idea! -
*Donate your metal! Upcoming biker event - http://www.backroadbbqrun.com
*The blog is up and running-you're here!
*New short litter documentary video in the works.
*The 500 ft litter pick: picking a 500 ft stretch every 4 weeks and tracking what and when people litter. Will move to two weeks and less as the year goes by. The quest is for better data to aid litter law enforcement.
